Description of PRS SPE Cartridges

Starlab Scientific Co., Ltd’s PRS is a silica gel based strong cation exchange column. It’s consisting of a propane sulfonic acid, has slightly less exchange capability than SCX SPE cartridge. It is suitable for weak cation such as pyridine compounds, can get high recovery rate. Typical applications include malachite green and crystal violet in water or in biological samples and other alkaline substances.

Features of PRS SPE Cartridges

1. High recoveries for pyridinic compounds;
2. Simple retention mechanism, no non-polar interactions;
3. Particle size: 40-75μm; Average pore size: 100 Å

Applications of PRS SPE Cartridges

Determination of drugs and their metabolites in biological fluids;
Determination of basic pollutants such as malachite green, gentian violet, tetrodotoxin and methylene blue
