The Requirement of the Gas Chromatographic Sample Bottle is the Accurate Volume

The requirements of the headspace gas chromatography sample bottle are accurate in volume, able to withstand certain pressure, good sealing performance and no adsorption on samples. Although ordinary glass bottles have been used in the past, most of these bottles are now made of borosilicate glass, and their inert properties meet the analysis of most of the samples.
There are many kinds of bottles for sale in the market. What kind of bottles should be purchased? One must be determined according to the requirements of the headspace sampler. Two depends on the sample conditions. 5-22ml The liquid samples use 10ml, and the left and right bottles will meet the requirements, because the sensitivity of the analysis depends on the concentration in the headspace of the component to be measured, or depends on the comparison of the beta, not the sample size. Therefore, if the volume sample bottle is used, if the beta is constant, the sensitivity of the analysis will not be improved. Solid samples are large sample bottles because the volume of the sample itself is large (the volume of the sample is large enough to guarantee the representativeness of the sample).
To be considered is the chromatographic column. When the filling column, large diameter column or capillary column is diverted into the sample, the injection volume is generally 0.5-2ml, which requires large volume sample bottles. When the capillary column does not divide into the sample, the injection volume will not exceed 0.25ml, so the small volume sample bottle is enough to meet the requirements.
